The most dramatic development this week: reflexes. Your baby's fingers will soon begin to open and close, his toes will curl, his eye muscles will clench, and his mouth will make sucking movements. In fact, if you prod your abdomen, your baby will squirm in response, although you won't be able to feel it. I am pretty excited this is the last week of the first trimester. I am looking forward to getting my energy back and just enjoying the honeymoon trimester.
We are getting ready to celebrate Luca's 2nd Birthday this Saturday. I can't believe my baby is going to be 2.
He is such a great boy and he amazes me every day. We turned his car seat around facing forward and he couldn't be happier. He is excited to get in his "cool car seat!".
He is in love with Caillou so I asked him what kind of birthday he wants and he says "Caillou Birthday!". So that is what he is getting!
